Dolls for Charity

I just got the latest issue of Soft Dolls and Animals magazine

and was pleased to see an article I wrote about TAODA's project for charity earlier this year.

This was a joint charity project between the Houston Area Fiber Artists and the Texas Association of Original Doll Artists.  HAFA members created 86 dresses with little pockets & TAODA members created little dolls to fit inside the pockets.  We actually made over 100 of these little dolls, so there were extras to send.  The dresses and dolls were made for a program called "Dress a Girl Around the World" and sent to Hope 4 Women International for distribution to needy girls around the world.
